Maintenance II

QUALIFICATIONS:
|
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Arizona driver’s license.
- Satisfactory criminal back ground check.
- Experience with computers, such as email and work order systems.
- Position requires physical demands, lifting 50-60 lbs of force frequently, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop or kneel.
- Knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Must have five years of experience in a combination of construction, plumbing and gas repair.
- Read and understand blue prints and closeout books.
- Understanding building codes.

REPORTS TO:

Maintenance Supervisor
|
JOB GOAL:
|
Under general direction, performs skilled and semi-skilled work in the repair and maintenance of mechanical or electrical equipment, buildings and grounds.
|
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Responsible for routine maintenance on all District facilities.
- Performs repairs, alterations, preventative maintenance, construction and installation of equipment for site buildings.
- Processes work orders in a timely manner.
- Establish and maintain records for materials and parts required to complete work orders and construction projects.
- Assist Maintenance Construction Lead in defining construction project tasks.
- Being flexible and performing other duties in the Building Operations Department as assigned by the Supervisor.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
|
12-MONTH; Vacation Days: per policy GDD.
General Leave Days: per policy GDCA
|
COMPENSATION:
|
Classified Salary Schedule Level P
|
EVALUATION:
|
Initial evaluation to be completed no later than ninety (90) days after first day of work; thereafter, annually by supervisor.
