PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
1. Work with small groups of high school students (9th grade).
2. Provide support for students, not teaching or giving of answers.
3. Facilitate tutorials on Tuesday and Thursday during the school day and conduct binder checks on Fridays.
4. Evaluate student binders and planners, class and textbook notes, etc.
5. Set an example of personal excellence and high expectations for AVID students to follow.
6. Communicate frequently and honestly with the AVID coordinator/teacher regarding student progress and areas of concern.
7. Tutors will be trained and will receive ongoing feedback and assistance with implementing AVID resources.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
