TITLE:                   ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER

QUALIFICATIONS:  

                                         1.             Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate

                                         2.             Documented evidence of successful teaching experience

                                         3.             Must pass fingerprint and background check

                                         4.             Highly Qualified – Preferred

REPORTS TO:                       Principal

JOB GOAL:                           Successful physical education planning and instruction of K-5th grade students

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

                Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

1. Daily physical education lesson planning
2. Daily physical education instruction
3. Adapted physical education instruction
4. Assist with daily lunch duty
5. Coordination and team planning with physical education staff
6. Perform other duties as assigned by administration
